The Nanjing/Nanking massacre was a bloodshed event of mass murder and rape. The event occurred for a six week period starting from December 13th, 1937 during the
‘Second Sino Japanese War’. That day the Japanese captured Nanking, the former capital of China. Japanese soldiers raped the women, killed hundreds of thousands of civilians and demolished the city of Nanking. It was an event where the rights of the Chinese residents of Nanking were violated. It was a massacre that occurred but was denied and forgotten. It is a tragic event that must not be forgotten so that it won't be repeated.
